Ethical Implications of the Tactile Internet

The ETAC project, sponsored by CeTI, is set to investigate the incorporation of tactile internet into society, aiming for a responsible, equitable, and sustainable integration. The first module delves into the requirements and evaluates the potential repercussions of this technology on individuals, societal structures, and the environment. In the second module, an ethical framework is constructed, and the societal acceptance is examined. The third module concentrates on a bifurcated nationwide poll while scrutinizing the role of mainstream and social media. The Center for Social Science Methods is in charge of orchestrating the surveys and the experimental facets of the project.
