Dresden, June 15, 2024 – The COSMO Science Forum at the Kulturpalast welcomed a vibrant crowd last night for the much-anticipated „Lange Nacht der Wissenschaften“ (Long Night of Sciences). Held on June 14th from 5 PM to 11 PM, the event featured our interactive DST exhibition titled „Designing Futures Together: Visionary Realities,“ showcasing transformative research and innovative technologies.
Event Highlights:

  • Interactive Exhibition: „Designing Futures Together: Visionary Realities“ Attendees explored visionary futures through cutting-edge research projects, interacting with scientists and gaining insights into the future of technology, infrastructure, and society.
  • VR Glasses Experience From 6 PM to 10:30 PM, participants enjoyed an immersive VR simulation of the future of robotics, offering a glimpse into advancements in automation and innovation.
  • Info Booths on Recycled Plastic Packaging and More Informative booths highlighted sustainable practices and research on recycled plastic packaging, showcasing contributions to a more sustainable future.
    Activities for Kids and Teens:
  • Code & Play Workshop From 5 PM to 8:30 PM, this workshop provided young attendees with hands-on programming experience, fostering creativity and basic coding skills.
  • Future Workshop for Drawing and Crafting Young minds envisioned and created their own futures through drawing and crafting activities, inspiring creativity and forward-thinking.
  • Urban Architecture Talks Engaging talks on urban architecture offered insights into the future of city planning and design, captivating aspiring young architects.

Community Engagement:
The event drew a diverse crowd of science enthusiasts, families, and professionals. The interactive exhibits and workshops made science accessible and exciting for all ages.
